Thank you for your interest in the activities of our organization.
Chabad of Small Communities in Central and Western Ukraine is an organization that has been supporting Jewish life in small towns and villages for over 20 years. We operate in 12 regions of Northern, Central, and Western Ukraine, providing comprehensive support to Jews living far from major centers.
Our main goal is to preserve Jewish traditions, strengthen national identity, and help everyone in need of spiritual, educational, or social support. Today, we care for more than 2000 families in 270 settlements and 80 small communities. We strive to create conditions so that every Jew, regardless of their place of residence, feels part of a large, friendly community.
This important mission is led by Rabbi Nochim Tamarin and his wife, who have dedicated their lives to serving the Jewish people. In 1997, following the call of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, they moved from Tzfat (Israel) to Zhytomyr and have since been actively developing Jewish life in small towns and villages.

What We Do
🔹 Educational Programs – We organize Torah lessons, lectures, and projects for children and youth aimed at deepening knowledge of Jewish culture and history.
🔹 Social Assistance – We support low-income families, the elderly, and single mothers by regularly providing food packages, medicine, and other essential items.
🔹 Preserving Traditions – We conduct prayers, Shabbat gatherings, and holiday events to strengthen the connection of Jews with their history and heritage.
🔹 Youth Engagement – We create opportunities for personal and spiritual growth for young people, helping them better understand their roots and become active members of the community.
🔹 Community Development – We contribute to strengthening Jewish life in small towns, helping to build stable and cohesive communities.
With G‑d's help, we strive to provide material and spiritual assistance to Jews in even the most remote locations, helping them maintain a connection to their heritage and community, and to be prepared to greet the long-awaited King Moshiach, may it be speedily in our days.

Charity – The Foundation of Jewish Tradition
All our activities are carried out exclusively through voluntary donations. In Judaism, tzedakah (charity) is not just an act of kindness but a sacred duty, an expression of care for others, and an effort to make the world a better place. Thanks to the generosity and participation of our benefactors, we are able to support thousands in need and preserve Jewish traditions in various corners of Ukraine.
If you have the opportunity to support our work, every contribution, no matter how small, is of great importance. We will be grateful for any help because together we can do even more good!
